Isawa Eitoku's brother? Better stats and one missing trait. I think this version is better. The trait Eitoku had was rarely useful since we bowed most of our spells anyway.

Eitoku had a Reaction to bow a spell instead of bowing himself, not a trait.
It was useful for a few things, like Mountain's Feet, but as it only worked in an army, it wasn't as useful as it could have been.
I'm fairly happy with this new version, although I don't know if he'll be making it into a deck just yet...

Awful art and quote, "House"?
Actually not so much bad as just inappropriate.

he looks like jack black lol i suppose we are now the clan of movie stars, akihiro *sp* the guy that straightens to do the ranged 3 looks like leonard nemoi. as far as the card i think it will be a decent guy at the start of the arc, it seems there is a lot of bow tech out there right now

I always loved Eitoku for being combo-tastic and that's kinda why I love this dude - negating an inherent cost is always great, unless all spells in CE will be "bow this spell"-only.
But he is already nice for Chasing osano-wo (guys at othe province, still adding his force to the current battle) or Rejuvenating vapors. Or for the card-draw-spell from GotE (4Chi, and he can still assign to crush provinces or defend)
On top of that he's virtually immune to other players bowactions if you can keep that spell alive.
The more spells we see with 'bow this shugenja' as a cost, the better he will be. Let's just pray that CE won't be too fast to invest 8G in a really solid personality opening up alot of combos.

The biggest thing about this guy is not the bow negation, it's the ability to attack and then defend.

I like using him to pay for Bow costs in battle and then he can still add his considerable Force of 4.

Agreed; anyone that can basically ignore the biggest "leash" in the game, bowing, is a winner in my book. Though Rout and other attachment destroying stuff can shut him down quickly. I can see the risk of sending him out only to have the other guy crush his spells and go from, like, 6 Force with Asano Wo's Rebuke to regular-bowed-and-screwed. At least you can field two and pass them back and forth...that is, unless attachment transfer in Battle doesn't exist right now (there was a holding that allowed that, the name escapes me right now). Feel free to correct me if this does exist currently.
