Ok, so I read the rulebook
"Any number of times per turn, before you lose Honor from an action
that targeted or was performed by one of your Courtier or Samurai Personalities: He
commits seppuku. If the seppuku destroyed him, reduce the Honor loss to one."
It doesn't say we actually have to be losing honor, we just have to do this before the honor loss, so couldn't we just lobby him for the favor and seppuku the honor loss?
This is assuming he survived through the previous turn.

I for one and definitely pleased that they left on him a token creation ability, and this time he is permenant and I dont have to show my opponent any cards . I believe he has been improved and I love another person I can sacrifice for Power Corrupting.

This is assuming he survived through the previous turn. Actually it clearly states that you do have to be losing honour to commit seppuku. I've put it in bold for you.

I had him in every phoenix deck I tested, even in the cavalry military deck. I would Seiden Sanzo the little guy each turn. I love having another Houhou type personality, to kill each turn.
