I really like this card, but he is missing the yojimbo trait. I am not sure why. Otherwise, a very solid card for defense.

Sure he doesn't have Yojimbo, or 3ph. But he is there to join the cavalry on the attack. He is there to defend. He is really good. On the other side, the lack of Yojimbo may cut him out of decks. It's too early to guess.

Oh, he is a good card, do not get me wrong. I just think that his whole card lends itself to Yojimbo, you know, going where your charge is and all. But, that is just me. He is very much still playable and will likely see use in both defensive and offensive decks. Heck, you can use him to defend one province, and then he can jump over to the next to keep on defending.

the lack of yojimbo or duelist really irks me with this guy as his stats and ability are really good. Ill definetaly use him as he can be there for both an attack and defend the next turn.
on the plus side he doesnt really get hurt by direct approach.
