I'm sure you didn't mean it that way, so a more polite answer is because for a ring to count for enlightenment it has to be put in play through its own text. Otherwise all you would have to do is to recycle this card a couple of times and fetch/have the rings in your hand and you have 'enlightenment for dummies'. Which may be as difficult as the real thing, but certainly wouldn't require as much thought.

Houhou loves the new ways to esplode! Basically this says put ring of void in play and ensure you have a good hand now. I don't see any reason why many decks wouldn't run this.
