It's like a cheap version of Fury, but still not that awesome.

I agree. I may run it but at the same time I have other stuff that have higher priority.

Its anti-blitz. Going second, you drop this from SH and the BK, kill off the two guys that they bought on their first turn. Having blown away the momentum you hopefully stymie them into re-developing and the inherent weakness of blitz means that they lose.

Worst case scenario is that you use this to stall the second turn attack into a third turn attack and the turn five win for blitz becomes a turn six by merit of the one turn reset that this presents.

Honestly, I wish we could have gotten this card instead of Fury of the Dark Lord when Celestial came out. While I'm happy to see some effective blitz meta in the game, I'm not happy to see another card that punishs boxable personalities while Fury is still around.

(rasm frasm, stupid Fury of the Dark Lord, shouldn't have been reprinted, rasm frasm...)

I am glad that it affects shadowlands personalities though.

Or at least should have continued to affect Shadowlands personalities too. The Dark Lord should turn on his own as well as his enemies in his rages.

love it. i've really wanted to play personalities that arent boxable since the start of the arc, and this card should let me do it. also the way its worded it almost looks like it makes unicorn very happy and lion very sad.

Paying that 6 gold to use it also means the person who played it can't do anything on their turn either. For Phoenix, this can easily be negated given the enormity of our personality selection on the boxable level (all of whom can really do the same thing as any other could, except Mizuhiko's naval).

This card will create concerns over running too many boxables, but that won't stop me from running a few. Nezumi is right, this gives Phoenix reason to use more 7g costing people.

I'm thinking about this card as not so much something that can run in a Phx deck, but something that will alter the environment (hopefully) sufficient to make it possible to run other Phx decks that until now have not been viable. Our not going second all that often means we should be the 'turn ahead' that this card would provide anyway.

More concerning is being on the receiving end than on the giving end of BtV, IMnsHO :)
