Since this cannot be asked officially until TH's release, I am asking this here just for the sake of discussion: Can redirect semi-neuter the effectiveness of BTV by forcing the targeting of THE SAME TARGET? Lets say as an example my opponent plays BTV and attempts to target Mizuhiko xp and my Power Corrupting Oni. Can I play Imperial Command to redirect from Miz to, lets say, Ningen's samurai token, and then play Final Sacrifice so that the same token samurai saves the Oni as well?
The targeting appears to be simultaneous, and the destruction seems to happen after targeting is completed. If that is true, then BTV will be less of a problem for Phoenix as it will for Spider. Well the first turn BTV is still gonna hurt against pure blitz, but do we stand a chance of making that work post MRP's anyway?

Has anyone considered a no boxable deck where this becomes 6: destroy two target boxables?

Concerning BTV: Player A targets 2 of my boxables with BTV; what happens when in my turn to target,i also target 1-2 of MY boxables and then play a) extensive training or B) Wander among the stars? Does it negate the destruction from BTV? If that were the case then these cards (3* either one of them) should be auto include into any Phoenix deck that packs boxables.

I don't know what a) is, but b) could work that way, yes. Assuming that they target your guys first, that is.

I will not get any cards until Saturday. But it appears that there is a buzz on the AEG forum that the cost is actually 8 instead of 6. Is this true? It will be interesting to see the reaction to this (AEG's and/or player's).

Crane clan forum member paraphrased to say "I have the card here in my hand, it costs 6 gold" as far as BTV is concerned.
Theres also rumors of Kusadao being 4g, and Groves of Stone costing 0. Not sure about those.
